Cabrida 2009 D.O Montsant

Celler de Capçanes. 100% garnacha

Visually Cabrida surprises with its deep red color, typical of old vines Grenache well done. It is bright, has some sediment but not unsightly. The tear is slow and fat, lovely.

In the mouth, at the entrance it´s a very precise explosion of red fruit, raspberries and blackberries where all the berries give a very silky touch and very deep. The palate is broad and has volume. It shows warmth. This wine is very sweet, has the potential to age very much. There is a hint of French oak where the light toasted French oak is a bit steep. Very nice retro.

Temperature of service should be at 16 ° C slightly below the traditional 18 because it has enough structure.

Pairing: boneless pork feet with spring vegetables. It is an ideal dish for the chef at the Mandarin Oriental Moments Barcelona
