We close the harvest cycle with the last racking of the year
At the Celler de Capçanes, we’ve reached one of the most symbolic moments of our calendar: the last racking of the year.
After weeks of maceration, tastings and patience, the time comes when the wine separates from the skins and begins its own journey.
The racking marks the end of one stage and the beginning of another. It’s the moment when we can finally see and taste how the new vintage is taking shape — the colour, the aroma and the texture that, until now, have been hidden inside the tanks.
This process reminds us that every harvest is a complete cycle: from vineyard to cellar, from soil to wine. And with this final racking, we close months of effort, dedication and deep respect for the nature that surrounds us.
Now, the wines rest in silence, preparing for ageing and for continuing to tell the story of Capçanes, our people and our landscape.
Here’s to the end of a year of hard work and to the birth of a new vintage full of promise.
