Ferran<\/strong> Centelles<\/strong> has included our Cabrida<\/strong> in the Wine Guide that Spanish TAPAS magazine<\/strong> releases every year under the heading “365 wines to toast all year round”<\/strong>. \u201cI have chosen it because it is the best wine from the best cooperative in Catalonia<\/strong><\/em>,\u201d he states in this yearbook.<\/p>\n

The Tapas Wine Guide<\/strong> includes a selection of wineries and wines by renowned Sommeliers and MW such as Ferran Centelles. <\/strong>Centelles was the sommelier at the world-renowned El Bulli<\/strong> for thirteen years until its closure. Being most probably the best reknown Sommelier in Spain today, he has build a strong international reputation and is contributor to Jancis<\/strong> Robinson<\/strong> and Decanter<\/strong>, among many others. In this Wine Guide, Centelles has been contributor for the section dedicated to wineries and wines of Catalunya.<\/p>\n

The prestigious and multifaceted Catalan sommelier highlights the work carried out at Celler<\/strong> Cap\u00e7anes<\/strong> and our commitment to quality<\/strong>: \u201cCeller de Cap\u00e7anes is a cooperative to follow<\/strong>, since they organise the members\u2019 vineyards at different levels of quality and potential to achieve great wines in all the quality segments.<\/strong> Numerous recent awards recognise its fabulous<\/strong> positioning<\/strong><\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n

As such, Centelles singles out our iconic wine: \u201cCabrida<\/strong><\/a> comes from very old red Garnacha vines in the D.O. Montsant. The nose is express<\/em>ive, with floral notes and, on the palate, the ripe red fruits add great flavour. Together with soft<\/em> tannins and very well-integrated wood, Cabrida<\/strong> was recognised as the Best Wine of Catalonia<\/strong> at the Vinari 2022 awards<\/em>\u201d.<\/p>\n
